ADVANCE BORE FLUID (ABF- 2) WEAPON SOLVENT

ADVANCE BORE FLUID – MIL-PRF-372F Type A

Safe to use on metals.

  • Will not cause rust, oxidation, staining, or galvanic corrosion.
  • May be harmful to some paints, varnishes, and plastics. Keep product off of these types of surfaces unless a previous patch test has shown no effect.
  • It is recommended that the firearm be re-treated with ABF weapon Lube CLP after use.

Directions for use:

Saturate patch with bore solvent and push through bore from breech and out muzzle. Repeat with clean saturated patch. Follow with dry patch. Repeat wet-dry patch process until bore is clean. For stubborn deposits, leave on for up to 60 minutes before removing. Never plug or leave patch in bore. Re-treat with ABF Weapon Lube. Run a dry patch through bore before firing. Safe to use on metals. Will not cause rust, oxidation, staining or galvanic corrosion. May be harmful to some paints, varnishes, and plastics. ADVANCE BORE FLUID (ABF- 3) WEAPON LUBE CLP (CLEANER LUBRICANT PRESERVATIVE)

Advance Bore Fluid (ABF) Weapon Lube CLP has been approved by the U.S. Army for the 21st Century – Mil Spec MIL-PRF-63460F (Type A). Click here to see our approval letter. Click here to see the CLP Qualification Update Letter.

Please note that lubricants that used to be qualified under MIL-PRF-63460D or earlier are no longer valid and do not meet the criteria of the new 63460F specification. Military organizations should be especially cautioned of this and are recommended not to use lubricants that are no longer approved.

Directions for use:

If necessary, clean firearm first using ABF Weapon Solvent. Apply ABF Weapon Lube CLP to bore, barrel actions, slide rails, trigger assemblies and all moving metal surfaces. Dampen cloth and wipe down leaving a protective coating. Please refer to your firearm’s owners manual if necessary. Please refer to the FAQ section for additional information.

Directions for use:

When gently wiped down, a thin film of liquid gun grease stays where it is placed. Use on all sliding surfaces, rails, trigger mechanisms, cam pins and any other areas that require a light grease.
